HOW SHE GOT HERE:

In a previous era, Nicole was an artist of modest talent (aka not the best painter, so she paid rent by working in bars and restaurants). Wanting a different life, she traded the Windy City for Seattle to climb the marketing ladder and gather various experiences in multiple industries and roles. Today, this insight serves her well in crafting practical content and communications that resonate with readers while supporting the marketing engine of Northern Lights Advisors.

In her free time, Nicole writes fiction (though nothing you’ve ever heard of and what is free time when you have a new baby?). She and her husband live in West Seattle with their son Wes, a dog named Oscar, and two cats, Carl and Gus. An elder millennial clinging to the best things about her youth, Nicole enjoys collecting books, records, and Polaroid cameras.
